The Streaming Giant Casts Ideal Performer for Bon Clay in the Hit Series Upcoming Installment
Baroque Works is poised to play a huge role in the forthcoming season on Netflix of One Piece, though the major clash won’t unfold until the next season, and a adored, popular member has just been cast.
The streaming service revealed Tuesday that the talented performer is now part of the One Piece upcoming season’s lineup and will embody Bentham. This character can use their power to morph into an exact copy of anyone they’ve made contact with with their right hand. The actor, who is identifies as non-binary and uses they/them pronouns, will play a version of that figure re-envisioned as non-binary, as opposed to as a drag queen, in the real-life adaptation, unlike the source material and cartoon version.
Escola joins a number of new cast members who will portray Baroque Works to the screen, featuring head the main antagonist, brought to life by the well-known actor, Sophia Anne Caruso as another operative, and a familiar face, who also joins the cast as King Nefertari Cobra of the fictional land.
